There was a huge black boot print on the front of the headboard when i opened it and it was very dirty.

This headboard when i take it out of the box got a weird smell and the fabric feels sticky also got a stain on the side. Besides that it’s cute and its not heavy at all.

The headboard itself is well constructed, but I think Dormify is missing a few key things especially for the hefty $$$$. 1- who knew all students sleep on the left side of the room. Can’t use the chargers if you are in a fairly standard small dorm room. 2- Not every dorm room has a wall that the bed is going up against. Lesson learned in our case. 3- For the cost come with some directions and options for securing headboard different ways. Returning this seems to be a total PITA. Website claims they have options with legs. Couldn’t find any. After loosing sleep trying to research how to make this work for my daughter we found a less than $10 fix. Went to Lowe’s and purchased two 6x2x1 wood beam along with some zip ties. Husband was skeptical, but referred to me as genius when it worked out. Daughter thrilled and roommate is going to have parents bring hers back! Not the prettiest with wood sticking up to stay stable, but going to hang something to disguise it! To improve this I would make a way for you to set which side of headboard you want chargers and simple instructions for utilizing!
